Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau police department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests Kevin Michael Cox, 23, 1400 N. Sprigg St., was arrested Sunday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.

Amy Hawks, 31, 611 Lafayette Place, Apt. 5., was arrested Sunday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.

Matthew Hogan, 23, 729 Themis St., Apt. 3, was arrested Sunday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for seatbelt violation.

Thefts Famous Barr reported clothing taken Saturday at 100 West Park Mall. Ciarra Dennell Brown, 18, 92 N. West, Sikeston, Mo., was arrested in connection with the complaint.

Rhodes 101 reported gasoline stolen Saturday at 449 S. Kingshighway.

Huck's reported gasoline stolen Saturday at 353 S. Kingshighway.

A purse was reported stolen and a vehicle window broken Sunday at 130 Vantage Drive.

A purse and contents were reported stolen Sunday at 3439 William St.

Burglaries Money and a purse were reported stolen during a burglary Saturday at 134 S. Lorimier St.

Burglary and stealing were reported Sunday at 134 S. Lorimier St., Apt. 3.

Property damage

A vehicle front window was reported broken Saturday at 137 S. Spanish St.

A vehicle windshield was reported broken Saturday at Broadway and Water Street.

J.B. Hunt Trucking, 615 Corporate, Lowell, Ark., reported a hood, grill and radiator on a tractor-trailer damaged Sunday at 2500 Spartech Drive.

Miscellaneous

A handgun was reported found Saturday at the 400 block of South Ellis Street.

Miscellaneous CDs were reported found Sunday at 1201 S. Sprigg St.Jackson

A report of littering in the 500 block of North High Street on Friday.

Arrests

Laurenzo Braxton, 19, Cape Girardeau, was arrested on a Jackson municipal warrant for failure to appear in court on Friday.

Tabitha Rainey, 31, Chaffee, Mo., was arrested Sunday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving while her license was revoked.

Thefts

A report of a theft in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard on Friday.

A report of a theft in the 2500 block of Ridge Drive on Saturday.Miscellaneous

Fireworks violations were reported Friday on Optimist Hill Drive, Symphony Drive, Parkview Street, Apache Avenue, Ridgeway Drive, and the 4900 block of Old Cape Road

Fireworks violations were reported Saturday on Optimist Hill Drive, Hubble Ford, Eastview Court, the 1200 block of East Main Street, East Jackson Boulevard, the 300 block of Elwanda Drive, and Royal Drive.

A peace disturbance was reported in the 800 block of August Street on Friday.

A peace disturbance was reported in the 800 block of West Adams Street on Saturday.

A peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of East Lane on Sunday.

A peace disturbance was reported in the 600 block of North Hope Street on Monday.

Property was reportedly found on Parkview Street on Friday.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 5000 block of Old Cape Road East on Friday.

A person was reported missing from the 300 block of Daisy Avenue on Sunday.

Animal abuse was reported Sunday in the 800 block of Andrew Street.
