Edwards records hole in one

Don Edwards scored a hole in one on hole No. 13 at Dalhousie Golf Club last week.

The hole was playing 152 yards, and he used a 6-iron.

Dick Swartz and Bob Denton witnessed the shot.

Southbound Ballers win boys varsity division

The Southbound Ballers defeated the St. Louis Hawks to win the boys varsity division at the Missouri MAYB tournament last weekend.

Other division winners were Tro Gia (JV boys), Southern Illinois Tigers (boys eighth grade), Village Heat (girls seventh grade), Curt Smith Storm (girls sixth grade), Southern Illinois Tigers (boys fifth grade), St. Charles Heat (girls varsity), Lady Dawgs (girls JV), St. Louis Jammers (girls eighth grade) and Jackson Shock (girls fifth grade).

Beasley helps team to victory

Cape Girardeau's Peyton Beasley shot a 42 to help his Wentworth Military Academy golf team win a three-team meet last week.

Beasley is 3-1 in head-to-head matches this season.
