Be careful with your home security

To the editor:

I appreciate you getting this story ("Cape man faces tampering, harassment charges") out in the public. My husband and I have learned a valuable lesson from all this. People need to be aware of who they let into there home and onto there property.

We had no idea a jungle gym set would cause our lives to change, but it has. I thank God we were on our way to St. Louis that Friday. I could not imagine what would have happened if we had been home with two small children

I want people to learn from our mistakes and make sure they don't ever have to go through what we are going through. We have had a lot of fear, but we will get through this.
