ANNA, Ill. -- Mary K. Kelley, 79, of Anna died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 21, 1925, in Rattle, Ill., daughter of Milton Mark and Helen Lulu Rendleman Hubbs. She and Woodrow Kelley were married Nov. 8, 1941, in Jackson, Mo. He died Aug. 3, 1991.
Kelley was employed 30 years at JoAn Laundry. She was a committeewoman 20 years in Anna Precinct 1, served as treasurer 17 years for Union County Democratic Party and was treasurer eight years for the Union County Women's Democratic Party.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Jonesboro, Ill., and Women of the Moose Chapter 1181.
Survivors include a daughter, Patty Harnisch of Anna; two sisters, Lucille Adams of Brighton, Ill., Dorothy Hartsock of Cobden, Ill.; two brothers, Robert "Bud" Hubbs of Manteno, Ill., Jay Hubbs of Ullin, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call at Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Salem Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David Eidson officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
