Rhonda Westrich is sadly missed

To the editor:

In response to the article "Westrich remembered as 'street-smart officer'": This was a great story. However, there were two incorrect statements. Rhonda Westrich was a dispacther with the Cape Girardeau Police Department from September 1985 until she became the secretary for the detective division. Also, she was 30 when she had her first heart attack. She was a dispatcher for us then, and her shift partner and dear friend took the 911 call when she had that first heart attack. She will be sadly missed.
