Marie Prince, 99, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, June 3, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 9, 1905, in Dongola, Ill., daughter of Paul and Mary Corzine Lingle. She and Coy Prince were married Sept. 22, 1928, in Cairo, Ill. He died Sept. 8, 1979.
Prince was in the ladies clothing business 43 years in Carbondale, Ill., and had owned Famous Ladies Apparel. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Jackson.
Survivors include three nieces, Louise Wilson of Perryville, Mo., Betty Lingle of Dongola, Olive Parker of West Memphis, Ark.; three nephews, Lloyd Hoffner of Harrison, Mich., the Rev. Guy Roberson of Albany, Ind., and Paul Roberson of Water Valley, Miss.
She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The funeral will be at noon Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Guy Roberson officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill.
