Ora Slover

MARQUAND, Mo. -- Ora Lee Slover, 82, of Marquand died Monday, May 31, 2004, at her home.

She was born Dec. 9, 1921, at Marquand, daughter of the Rev. Jesse A. and Pairlee Farmer Yount. She and Milford S. Slover were married Nov. 17, 1943, at Marble Hill, Mo.

Slover was a member and former Sunday School teacher at Patton United Methodist Church in Patton, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Karen Hartle of Jackson, Rose Tallent of Patton; two brothers, Don Yount of Jackson, Glen Yount of Herculaneum, Mo.; a sister, Dolly Fadler of Farmington, Mo.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and a grandson.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Rister officiating. Burial will be in Patton Community Cemetery.
