Airman arrives for duty at Florida installation

Air Force Airman 1st Class Dana A. Williams has arrived for duty at Hurlburt Field, Fort Walton Beach, Fla. She is the daughter of Nancy L. Huber of Jackson and Timothy R. Williams of Whitewater. Williams is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School. Williams, a command and control apprentice, is assigned to Air Force Special Operations Command.

Warrant officer finishes helicopter flight school

Army National Guard Warrant Officer Ashley B. Wischmann has graduated from the Army Warrant Officer Helicopter Flight School at Fort Rucker, Daleville, Ala. Wischmann, a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School, is the son of Gustab H. and Patricia P. Wischmann of Jackson.

Naval recruit gets early promotion

Navy Seaman Apprentice Jacob A. Lawson, son of Rebecca A. Watterson of East Carondelet, Ill., and Jeffery A. Lawson of Perryville, Mo., was recently promoted to his current rank upon graduation from Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill. He received the early promotion for outstanding performance during all phases of the training.
