Two suspects sought in Cape armed robbery

Cape Girardeau police are looking for two men who robbed the Rhodes 101 store at 449 South Kingshighway around 12:20 a.m. Thursday.

According to the police department, two men, one carrying a shotgun, came into the store and demanded money.

They took an undetermined amount and fled on foot. Police said they did not know if anyone besides the clerk was in the store at the time it was robbed. No shots were fired and no one was hurt. Police are looking for two men in their mid-20s, both with a stocky build. One was clean-shaven and wearing brown shorts.
