Helen Seabaugh of Jackson recently presented her family tree book, "From Heydon to Hayden," to the Cape Girardeau County Genealogy Society.
Twenty years in the making, Seabaugh's book, "Heydon to Hayden" is so named because of the change in spelling her maiden name has received over the years.
Included in the book are poems and letters from George N. Hayden, Seabaugh's father, about his experiences in World War I. Seabaugh believes its conclusion to be rather timely with the expected return of her son, S.S.G. Jesse H. Seabaugh to Fort Riley, Kan., after serving with the Army in Kuwait and Iraq.
