Scott County man sentenced on meth charge
Tuesday, February 24, 2004
Robert E. Law, 33, of Sikeston, Mo., was sentenced Monday in federal court to 235 months in prison for attempting to manufacture methamphetamine. Upon release he will be on supervised release for four years. He appeared before U.S. District Judge Jean C. Hamilton in Cape Girardeau.
Law previously admitted that April 23 he was at a residence in Sikeston for the purpose of making the drug when officers arrived and executed a search warrant. His vehicle was parked near a shed where he was engaged in the steps to manufacture meth. Inside the vehicle were items used to make the drug.
