Time to stand up and be counted on decency issue

To the editor:

Anyone who believes that the Janet Jackson fiasco was an accident is not living in today's world. The whole Super Bowl halftime show was rude, crude and outrageously vulgar. It is amazing the lengths these so-called entertainers will go to so they can be noticed. I'm quite sure some of them would show all if the law allowed it. It is time we spoke out on common decency and family values. As long as we sit on our hands and keep silent, we are condoning such behavior. Let us stand up and be counted.
