An article Wednesday about the preschool program in Cape Girardeau should have stated the district has budgeted $123,000 on salaries, $15,000 on instructional supplies, $25,000 on noninstructional supplies such as playground equipment and $5,000 on staff development for the preschool program. So far, the district has spent $80,867 on the program. Adding a preschool room at either Alma Schrader Elementary or Clippard Elementary would cost an estimated $75,000 apiece.
