McCain plans St. Louis-area campaign stop Friday

Tuesday, January 29, 2008

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Republican presidential candidate John McCain will make a campaign stop Friday in suburban St. Louis.

The Arizona senator will appear at Spirit of St. Louis Airport at 2 p.m.

That's according to state Rep. Jason Brown, who is vice chairman of McCain's Missouri campaign.

Brown said the St. Louis-area stop is the only one currently scheduled in Missouri before Super Tuesday next week. But Brown said that could change.

Missouri is one of 22 states that will hold primaries or caucuses next Tuesday.
