He was born Jan. 18, 1929, in Rochester, N.Y., son of Oscar and Marion Hall Weller. He and Ethel M. Masters were married Oct. 1, 1976. She survives.
Allan was an active member of La Croix United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
He attended Syracuse University in New York. He was a volunteer firefighter 25 years in DeWitt, N.Y. He played football, hockey and lacrosse. He retired in 2007 as an estimator with Columbia Construction after 56 years of construction work.
In addition to his loving wife, survivors include five sons, Stephen Weller of Cape Girardeau, Ed (Rosie) Kinder of Lemore, Calif., Peter (Jennifer) Weller of Dallas, Bob (Shirley) Kinder of Jackson, Jim (Susan) Weller of Grasonville, Md.; a daughter, Kim (Mike) Adams of St. Louis; a brother, John (Nancy) Weller of Dallas; 10 grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Adams; James, Carolynne, Katie and Ally Weller; Jordan, Geoffrey, CeCe and Dani Kinder.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at La Croix United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ron Watts officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in the form of donations to La Croix United Methodist Church, Humane Society of Southeast Missouri or the American Cancer Society.
