Cape Girardeau Public Library January schedule

* Toddler time will be held for ages 18 to 35 months (with a caregiver) at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14 and 28. Books, songs, finger plays, flannelboards and activities are part of this program.

* Storytime for ages 3 through 5 will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 22 and 29. Books, songs, finger plays, flannelboard stories, and a take home activity are part of this program; at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday only, "Art Starts! Andy Warhol" will be held for ages 4 to 7.

* The library will be closed Jan. 21 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

* Egyptology will be held for ages 8 to 12 at 7 p.m. Jan. 24. Take a look at what life was like in ancient Egypt. Learn about hieroglyphs, mummies and more.

* Teen After Hours Gaming will be held for ages 13 to 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 25. Rock the library after hours. Join the rock band or play games online. Refreshments will be provided.
