Neumeyer to give photo lecture
Local photographer Tom Neumeyer will lecture on his "Cape Girardeau: Then and Now" exhibit at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 10 in the John and Betty Glenn Convocation Center at the Southeast Missouri State University River Campus. "Then and Now" is a historical retrospective of Cape Girardeau through historic and current photographs. Admission is free.
St. Louis ski area now open
WILDWOOD, Mo. -- The Hidden Valley Ski Area near St. Louis is now open for the season, its 25th. It opened at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Hidden Valley makes snow using a network of towers and machines that create and distribute snow. For more information on Hidden Valley, call 636-938-5373.
'Talent' winner coming to Paducah
PADUCAH, Ky. -- Terry Fator, winner of the NBC contest series "America's Got Talent," a ventriloquist, impersonator, singer and comedian, will perform at the Carson Center in Paducah, Ky., at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 2.
