Joan Reed

CAIRO, Ill. -- Joan Reed, 80, of Cairo died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 4, 1927, in Cairo, daughter of Orbie and Marie Jones Huey. She married Jim Reed.

Reed was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, and a brother, Charles Huey of Mount Vernon, Ind.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

There is no visitation.

Private service will be held at a later date.

Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
