Melinda Emilie Schoen and Chad Benjamin Morrison were married April 21, 2007, at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. The Rev. Robert Mann performed the ceremony. Organist was Marian Leimbach and pianist was Sasha Smies.
The bride is the daughter of John and Teri Schoen of Oak Ridge. The groom is the son of Rodney Morrison of Uniontown, Mo., and Susan Turner of Altenburg, Mo.
Maid of honor was Katie Hemmann of Oak Ridge, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessie Huelsmann of Trenton, Ill.; Jessica Reisenbichler of Jackson, cousin of the bride; Jennifer Kasten of Jackson; Crystal Fornkahl of Cape Girardeau; and Amanda Landgraf of Jackson, cousin of the bride.
Tim Schmidt of Frohna, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Jason Telle of Hollister, Mo., Tim Neislein of Crosstown, Mo., Chad Miesner of Frohna, Ryan Pohlman of Oak Ridge, and Nick Brauner of Altenburg. Ushers were Jason Morrison of Frohna, brother of the groom, and Matthew Schoen of Oak Ridge, brother of the bride.
Candlelighters were Cody Morrison of Altenburg, brother of the groom, and Corvin Schoen of Oak Ridge, brother of the bride.
Flower girls were Taylor and Ashley Fritsche, daughters of Lynn and Julie Fritsche of Farrar, Mo., and cousins of the bride. Ringbearer was Ethan Schuessler, son of Mike and Tori Schuessler of Frohna and cousin of the groom.
Melinda Schoen and Emma Hemmann were guest book attendants.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Kristyna Meier, Beth Kiefer and Erin Ebbsmeyer.
The rehearsal dinner was held April 20 at the Red Barn in Jackson.
Mrs. Morrison is a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and Mineral Area College at Park Hills, Mo. She is employed by Schoen Farms in Oak Ridge and Shawneetown Feed and Seed Co. in Jackson.
The groom is a graduate of Perryville High School. He is employed by K&K Guttering in Perryville.
After a wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple resides in Perryville.
