Delta blanks Perryville 8-0

Bobcats pitcher Kendra Burnett allowed two hits, struck out nine and walked two to help the Delta softball team knock off Perryville 8-0 on Monday.

Amanda Seabaugh went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs for the Bobcats (12-8).

Emma Littge struck out one and walked two to take the loss for the Pirates.

Garrett Fritsche, Andrew Etzoldt and Ben Curtoise all scored a goal to lead Saxony Lutheran to victory.

Bryant Steffens had three saves for the Crusaders (9-1-1).

Lauren Meyer led Oak Ridge with 12 kills. Emily Ruch added nine kills and Andrea Schreiner had four kills to help the Blue Jays.


Leopold's Maddy Hutchings had five kills and three service aces while Casey Bucher contributed six kills.

Cassie Seiler had 11 assists and four digs for the Wildcats (16-3).

Lauren Johnson led Woodland with three kills while Chelsea Lawrence added two kills and Brandi Killian had four assists.


Cassie Graviett led Oran with five kills, three aces, seven digs and four blocks.

Cammie Milam added three assists, five aces and three digs while Callie Kielhofner had two kills, three aces and three digs for the Eagles (4-8).

Notre Dame's Shannon Brennan smacked down five kills while Paige Schumer had eight assists and Kelsey Bradshaw had nine digs for the Bulldogs (8-7-2).


Taylor Kirn led Central with six aces.

Wendi Zickfield added seven kills and Katie Scholl had 11 assists to help the Tigers (14-7-2).

Central dominated in its last regular-season match of the year.

The Tigers (14-3) won five out of six singles matches and two out of three doubles matches to take the win.

Central remained unbeaten as Deonte Jenkins had three touchdowns and three 2-point conversions to lead the Tigers (3-0).

Charles Robinson and Tay Richardson both added touchdowns and a 2-point conversion while Bryce Gary also added a 2-point conversion for the Tigers.
