Billy Gene Mills, 73, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at his home.
He was born Sept. 4, 1930, in Cape Girardeau, son of Paul W. and Eleanor Louise McLain Mills. He and Betty Brooks were married Oct. 23, 1955, in Cape Girardeau.
Mr. Mills formerly owned and operated Kagmo Electric and Myco Enterprises. He was a lifetime member of Centenary United Meth-odist Church, member of VFW Post 3838, American Society of Gem Cutters, St. Mark Masonic Lodge 93, Scottish Rite, Moolah Shrine, and was a 32nd Degree Mason.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Linda and husband Terry Burnette of Fruitland, Pamela and husband Bill Campbell of Seminole, Fla.; a brother, Stephen Mills of St. Louis; two sisters, Marilyn Jane Chitty of Cape Girardeau, Jo Ann LaFentress of Perryville, Mo.; three grandchildren, Zach Burnette of Fruitland, Nicole and Eric Campbell of Seminole.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Dr. Clayton Smith officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park, with graveside rites by VFW Post 3838.
Memorial contributions may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or Shriners Children's Hospital in St. Louis.
