Kaczmarek-Burroughs

ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Karissa Ann Kaczmarek and Justin Kenneth Burroughs were married June 14, 2003, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Omaha, Neb. The Rev. Dermot Dunne performed the ceremony. Pianist and organist was Rick Jacobi of Omaha. Server was Jerad Kuhl of Randolph, Neb., cousin of the bride. Lectors were Charlene Palisch of Altenburg, aunt of the groom, and Philip O'Halloran of Omaha, uncle of the bride.

Vocalists were Tammy Palisch of Altenburg, aunt of the groom; Lori Meier and David Volenac of Omaha.

Roger and Sheila Kaczmarek of Omaha are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Kenneth and Colleen Burroughs of Altenburg.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Kelsey Kaczmarek of Omaha, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Ficenec of Omaha; Anne McDonald of Kansas City, Mo.; Kortney Kaczmarek of Omaha, sister of the bride; Julie Schmitz of Omaha and Julie Oswald of Kansas City. Junior bridesmaids were Tessa Burroughs of Altenburg, sister of the groom, and McKenna Simpson of Omaha, cousin of the bride.

Ryan Burroughs of Altenburg served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Vowels of Manhattan, Kan., Christopher Cole of Springfield, Mo., Jason Price of Sterling, Va., James Kuehnert of Altenburg, and Dane Burroughs of Altenburg, brother of the groom. Ushers were Colby, Derek and Trey Palisch of Altenburg, cousins of the groom, and Derek Kuhl of Trumbell, Neb., cousin of the bride.

Candlelighters were Amy and Julie Thompson of Lincoln, Neb., cousins of the bride.

Flower girls were Kayla Classen and Paige Maass of Omaha. Ringbearer was Denton Kuhl of Randolph, cousin of the bride.

McKaela Simpson of Omaha and Mary Thompson of Lincoln, cousins of the bride, attended the guest book. Program attendants were Drew and Olivia Palisch of Altenburg, cousins of the groom, and Andrew and Kyle Simpson of Omaha, cousins of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at Indian Creek Country Club in Omaha.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 13 at Lo Sole Mio Ristorante Italiano in Omaha.

Mrs. Burroughs received a doctor of pharmacy degree from Creighton University in Omaha. She is a pediatric neurology clinical pharmacist at St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis.

The groom received a juris doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is an associate attorney at Evans and Dixon LLP in St. Louis.

The couple resides in St. Louis.
