Everyone's a critic: 'Daddy Daycamp'

Two stars (out of four)
"Daddy Daycamp" is a failed attempt at a second version of the first movie, "Daddy Daycare."
First, the directors failed to cast the original actors in this movie, and although Cuba Gooding Jr. is a great actor, he is not Eddie Murphy. Second, the characters in this movie are not quite as profound as the ones in "Daycare." In addition, there was another attempt at the bathroom mishap that happened in "Daycare": A child vomits in a tent and manages to get it on the ceiling, walls and floor. A similar situation was more comical in the first movie.
Although the story is a comical trail of mishaps in a summer camp, I was disappointed in the film's overall attempt. The movie is rated PG; however, I found some of the material not quite appropriate for my 6-year-old. Overall, the film presented a feel-good message: Working together as a team yields better results than individuals with a competitive edge working separately.
