Journet's views promote his vision of world

To the editor:

I'm glad we have knowledgeable people to set the record straight when someone like Alan Journet mixes opinion with fact. However, those of us who have been reading Journet's essays over these many months are aware that he is a true academic. His concern is not about reality and its strictures but how he would like things to be. Like many of his nonproductive brethren, he has a vision of the world. There is no doubt in my mind that he is a subscriber to the philosophy that "the ends justify the means." Some lads named Kant, Lenin and Stalin were great defenders of that line of thought.
