Mary Lee Lyons, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born April 13, 1925, in Grenada, Miss., daughter of Jake and Mary Brocks. She and James Lyons were married Oct. 9, 1951, in Tallahatchie County, Miss.
Lyons was a housekeeper many years.
Survivors include six sons, Eugene Lester, Sola DePree and Jerry DePree, all of Cape Girardeau, David Lyons of St. Louis, James Lyons of California, Andrew Lyons of Potosi, Mo; four daughters, Lillie Mae Foster, Mary Carter, Rose Mary DePree and Alice DePree, all of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, George and Jeff Brocks of St. Louis; four sisters, Melvina Stuckey of St. Louis, Rubydale Lias of Buffalo, N.Y., Bea Craig of Chicago, Lena Campbell of Cape Girardeau; 39 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, eight siblings and five children.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at Greater Dimension Ministries.
The funeral will be at noon at the church.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
