FLORISSANT, Mo. (AP) -- A St. Louis County man walking on the street died when he was struck by lightning, police said.
Donald Weeks, 25, was walking to work about 2:15 p.m. Monday in Florissant when he was struck. Meeks worked at a car wash nearby.
Witnesses saw a bright flash of lightning followed by a loud blast.
It was the second lightning death in the St. Louis area this year. In April, a man was killed by lightning in University City.
