David Lynn Noah, 50, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born May 13, 1957, in Cape Girardeau, son of Norman Noah and "Helen" Curtis Noah Caudill.
David graduated from Jackson High School in 1976. He worked for Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department 20 years within the Major Case Files and Drug Task Force, and for the past three years drove a tractor trailer truck for Hook Transportation.
David was a member of War-child's Cycle Club of Chaffee, Mo., auxiliary member of VFW Post 3838 and member of Eagles Aerie 3775, both in Cape Girardeau.
Loving survivors include a son, James "Jimmy" Noah of Jackson; a daughter, Christina Noah of Advance, Mo.; three grandchildren, Gabe and Jamie Noah, and Addison Carlton; his mother, "Helen" Noah Caudill of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Shirley Walker of Evansville, Ind.; two stepbrothers, Richard McCuan and Vance McCuan, both of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Richard G. Noah.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Darrell Faire officiating. Interment will follow in Cape County Memorial Park.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
