BENTON, Mo. -- Thomas Wayne Gregory Sr., 63, of Benton died Friday, June 29, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born Oct. 11, 1943, at Morehouse, Mo., son of Earl Theopolis and Mable Marie Pack Gregory. He and Linda Joyce Owens were married Dec. 15, 1974, at Morehouse. She died Dec. 19, 2006.
Gregory was a plumbing instructor at Florida State Correctional Facility. He was a member of Eagle Christian Mission Church.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Gregory Jr. of Racine, Wis., William Kicklighter of Hernando, Fla.; a daughter, Tamula McCombs of Anniston, Ala.; five sisters, Billie Bell of Bloomfield, Mo., Deanie Bollinger, LouNell Curtner, Alma Creed and Betsy Fields, all of Sikeston, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
