Cape police report 5/1/07

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt:DWI

* Landers Whitcomb, 49, of 213 Clark Ave., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

Arrests

* A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of interference with custody.

* Troy D. Williams, 26, of 2818 Whitener Drive, No. 8, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and driving while revoked.

* A 16-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court.

* Brandon T. Johnston, 23, of 239 N. Middle St., No. 4, was arrested for littering, resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer.

* Jimmy L. Bell, 57, of 232 N. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fines for possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Roy L. Jones, 29, of 326 Morgan Oak St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked and resisting arrest.

* Two subjects are in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

* Evan D. Johnson, 21, of 1816 N. Main St., Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a DPS warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fines for an open container.

* Roy A. Johnson, 20, of 125 2nd St., Tamms, Ill., was arrested on a Mississippi County warrant for failure to appear for child support.

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt:

Summons

* Mohammad H. Abu-Khudeir, 59, of 151 Navajo Drive, was issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving.

* Melanie E. Powers, 43, of 1927 N. Kingshighway No. 20, was issued a summons for a leash law violation.

* Matthew H. Besand, of 920 Penny Ave., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Assault

* Domestic assault was reported.

* Roy L. Jones, 35, of 326 Morgan Oak St., was arrested on suspicion of second degree domestic assault.

* An assault was reported.

* Third degree assault and an ex parte violation were reported.

* Domestic assault in the second degree, assault in the first degree and burglary were reported.

Thefts

* A stereo and climate control module were reported stolen from 540 Rear S. Frederick St.

* A purse and its contents were reported stolen from 2418 Bloomfield Road.

* Rhodes 101 at 1624 N. Kingshighway reported gasoline stolen.

* A weed eater was reported stolen from 251 E. Cape Rock Drive.

* Rhodes 101 at 2109 William St. reported gasoline stolen.

* Rhodes 101 at 449 S. Kingshighway reported gasoline stolen.

* Two male juveniles, 12, were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of burglary and stealing.

* Pizza Inn at 333 Gordonville Road reported a money bag and cash stolen.

Property damage

* A window was reported broken at 10 N. Pacific St.

Miscellaneous

* Identity theft was reported.

* A male, 13, was cited into juvenile court for sexual misconduct.

* Disturbing the peace was reported.

* A missing person was reported and later located.

* Interfering with arrest was reported.

* A missing person was reported and later located.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

* Harassing phone calls were reported in the 300 block of Grandview Drive

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of Lake Street.

* A request to check the well being in the 1100 block of East Jackson Boulevard was reported.

The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety released the following items:

* Harassment was reported at Cheney Hall.

* A 1993 Buick Skylark was reported damaged at Lot 3-3.

* Cash and a credit card were reported stolen from the Student Rec Center North.
