Big Lie techniques push agendas

To the editor:Debate abounds regarding origins of political correctness and the Big Lie technique, mostly focusing on pre-World War II Nazi Germany or Stalinist Russia. I've settled on the assertion that PC was institutionalized in 1923 at Frankfurt University by Marxists who wished to call it the Institute for Marxism. Their sinister agenda was obvious, so they named it the Institute for Social Research. Maybe that explains why Marxian socialists lurk in sociology departments of American universities, even locally, and combine Freud and Marx to push their bag of goodies dubbed "critical theory".

Big Lie techniques inspire similar arguments, albeit Nazi propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels, attracts due credit. But don't exclude Adolf Hitler's big lie contributions with his hateful diatribes against Jews in "Mein Kampf," which also displayed mentally ill traits of projection and paranoia, often demonstrated by liberal-socialists today.

Big Lie implementation variations are legion. But I prefer a general view that if a huge, even outrageous lie is spouted loud and long enough, stupid masses will certainly lap it up quickly. However, even those who know better will grow weary of refuting it, and eventually submit. An example of a Big Lie du jour by useful idiot American leftists, especially in academia and propaganda media, is human-caused global warming. Mind you, the lie is conjured up and disseminated through the idiots by global-communist bureaucrats of the most renowned institute of world "consensus science", the United Nations. Politicians at all levels seem to submit to this nonsense prematurely. Go figure.
