Central's Williams earns victory No. 250

Central edged Francis Howell 7-6 on Monday in a makeup game from the Jeffco Showcase, as Tigers coach Steve Williams recorded his 250th career victory.

Blake Slattery, Matt Hester and Alex Shell had three hits apiece for the Tigers (10-6), who ended a two-game losing streak.

Notre Dame's team of Brett Slaten and John Oliver finished fourth with a 76, followed by the St. Vincent pair of Zach Richardet and Corey Brueckner with a 77.

Central's top team of Tim Simmons and Jack Connell finished in a five-way tie for sixth with a 78.
