Friday, March 30, 2007
The Southeast Missouri State University's Innovation Center will receive $19,704 in state tax credits for its business incubator program, Missouri Department of Economic Development director Greg Steinhoff said Thursday. Steinhoff said it will help the center in its efforts to create new jobs. "Under the leadership of Gov. Matt Blunt, our state's once stagnant economy is now surging with the creation of more than 80,000 new jobs," he said in a prepared statement. The Innovation Center offers space and business expertise for start-up businesses.
