Jackson school candidates to speak at forum

Wednesday, March 21, 2007

The public will have an opportunity to hear Jackson school board candidates discuss issues facing the school district at a forum tonight.

The forum will be held at 7 p.m. at the Jackson Middle School cafeteria.

Incumbent Gerald Adams is seeking re-election. Also running are Dan Stover, Marc Harris and Brian Dameron.

Two positions on the board are up for election April 3.

The board will have at least one new member as a result of the election. Board member Jim Woeltje isn't seeking re-election.

The Jacksonian Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association is sponsoring the forum.
