Illegals threaten sovereignty

To the editor:Mexico has 100 million people, and half want to live in America. From 12 million to 20 million Mexican illegals have crossed into the U.S. In the last 20 years the flow of illegals has doubled twice. Now the yearly estimate of those who evade our border guards and get in is between 800,000 and 1 million.

In many of the prisons in our border states the jail population is 30 percent Mexican. In Los Angeles 1,200 to 1,500 homicide warrants are issued annually for illegal aliens. In the U.S. 12 Americans are killed daily by illegal Mexicans. And 13 Americans are killed each day by illegals who are driving.

Mexico is substandard in public health, so we have several diseases coming in: dengue fever, syphilis, leprosy and Chagas disease.

We cannot remain a sovereign nation unless we not only control our borders, but also pry out the criminal and terrorist illegals as well as seriously enforce the laws that apply to employers of illegal aliens.
