Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane of traffic.

Arrests

* A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of forgery, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Tammy L. Maddock, 41, of 317 S. Louisiana Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Jimmy L. Hudson, 28, of 1808 Hutson Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Assaults

* Child molestation and sexual misconduct were reported.

* A statutory rape was reported.

Thefts

* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.

* Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of alcohol. Dontrail S. Tipler, 17, of Sikeston, Mo. received a summons in connection with the complaint.

* Kmart, 11 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of cologne.

* J.C. Penney, 200 West Park Mall, reported a theft. A juvenile female was taken into custody.

* A maroon 1996 Ford Contour was reported stolen at 1314 Jefferson Ave.

Property damage

* U Store & Lock It, 2301 Bloomfield Road, reported a window broken on a trailer.

Miscellaneous

* A 17-year-old girl was reported missing in the 100 block of South Benton Street.

* Interference with child custody was reported.

* A 20-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A noise violation was reported at William and Hanover streets.

* Don's Store 24, 341 S. Sprigg St., reported a trespassing violation. A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges in connection with the complaint.

* A violation of an ex parte order of protection was reported.

* A violation of an ex parte order of protection was reported.

* Possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) at a city correctional facility was reported.

* A 21-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Stephen D. Myers, 35, of 228 Cedar Lane, No. 13, received a summons for affray.

* Stacy W. Mayfield, 29, of Cape Girardeau received a summons for affray.

* Bari M. Blevins, 31, of Cape Girardeau received a summons for affray.

* Christopher L. Eskew, 19, of St. Louis was issued summonses for failure to stop for a red light and for driving without a valid driver's license.

* Robert D. Ervin, 57, of 605 Charlotte Court, received summonses for failure to drive in a single lane and driving while intoxicated.

* Kasey E. Koenegstein, 22, of 116 Grandview Drive, received summonses for speeding and driving while intoxicated.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.

Thefts

* A CD player was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Olive Street.

* Identify theft was reported in he 1200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Stereo equipment was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of South High Street.

* A theft was reported from a motor vehicle on Parkview Street.

Miscellaneous

* An affray was reported in the 700 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A purse was reported lost in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A request to assist other agency was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
