PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Terry Ray Hampton, 55, of Perryville died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at his home.
He was born July 4, 1951, in Sikeston, Mo., son of Joe M. and Emma Berniece Franks Hampton.
Hampton was a meat cutter several years at Stan's Food Mart. He lived in Sikeston most of his life. He was a former member of Concordia Lutheran Church and recently became a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Martin of Olathe, Kan., Jennifer Hampton of Cape Girardeau; his father of Buford, Mo.; a brother, Bill Hampton of Yucaipa, Calif.; three sisters, Patsy Hoeft of Buford, Wanda Leathers of LaBelle, Fla., Mary Faye Foster of Kennett, Mo.; and fiancee, Vickie Pringel of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a grandmother, Mary Hampton, who raised him.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Burial will be in Garden of Memories in Sikeston.
