Four-lane interchange planned near Silva
Wednesday, December 20, 2006
An interchange is being planned for the intersection of U.S. 67 and Highway 34 near Silva. A four-lane bypass will be constructed around the west side of the businesses at the two Highway 34 intersections. The existing U.S. 67 will become the northbound exit ramp and the northbound entrance ramp. New southbound ramps will be constructed. Highway 34 will be realigned at the south intersection with traffic going under the four-lane bypass and the north intersection will be eliminated. The Missouri Department of Transportation held a public hearing Tuesday in the Greenville High School to explain the plans to the public.
