To the editor:Thank you for the article by T.J. Greaney entitled "Differences within Islam create confusion for many" in Thursday's edition of your paper. It was insightful and informative. It also highlighted the ignorance of our leadership, those who are taking the responsibility to make decisions for our security and welfare to protect us from the fanaticism of extremists in the Islam religion. Even high school sports coaches study their opponents' philosophy and styles and what motivates them in order to try to defeat them. Surely those making the decisions to defeat terrorism should also do their utmost to "know thy enemy." Military power is not enough. Knowledge is power. Thanks for giving your readers a little more knowledge.
