Driskell receives doctorate in analytical chemistry

Jeremy Driskell, son of Dan and Gerry Driskell of Cape Girardeau, received his doctorate in analytical chemistry from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.

Several Southeast students awarded scholarships

* Mary Kramer of Perryville, Mo., was awarded the Jeanine Larson Dobbins Endowed Scholarship.

* Hayle Davis of Scott City was awarded the Joe Matthews Scholarship.

* Erica Keller of Jackson and Jack Johnson of Cape Girardeau were awarded Albert and Dorothy Macke scholarships.

* Tami Miller of Jackson received the Frances and Cornelius Crowley Spanish Club Scholarship.

* Jessica Farrow of Jackson received the Vincent and Alberta Seyer Endowed Scholarship.

* Justin Moore of Cape Girardeau and Amanda Eades of Scott City received the Charles Cox Vocal Music scholarships.

* Amanda Otte and Rob Spurlock, both of Cape Girardeau, received Katherine Cochran Art scholarships.

* Christina Gonzales of Cape Girardeau was awarded the Luke and Edna Kinder Scholarship.

* Clay Tummins of Cape Girardeau was awarded the Emma Dempster Memorial Scholarship.

* Amy Bickings of Cape Girardeau was awarded the A.B. Cooper Endowed Scholarship.
