Tobacco tax to be topic on radio program today

Supporters and opponents of a proposed state constitutional amendment in Missouri that would increase the tax on tobacco products will be featured today on the local radio show "Going Public."
Also featured on the program is an interview with Cassandra McKeown, former public defender and professor of political science at the University of South Dakota.
She will discuss her experience as a public defender. She will speak at the 11th annual Weis Lecture at 6 p.m. Monday at Southeast Missouri State University in Dempster Hall's Glenn Auditorium.
The show also will feature an interview with Old Town Cape director Marla Mills.
The program will be broadcast at 3 p.m. on KRCU, 90.9 FM, and KSEF, 88.9 FM. The show is produced at KRCU studios on the Southeast Missouri State University campus.
