MORLEY, Mo. -- Glen E. Parks, 68, of Morley died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at his home.
He was born Dec. 17, 1937, at Sikeston, Mo., son of Henry and Gladys Tina Williams Parks. He and Patsie Farris were married April 5, 1964, in Sikeston.
Farris had been a truck driver with Malone and Hyde/Fleming Foods of Sikeston. After retiring, he worked at Wheeler's of Morley.
He served with the U.S. Army and was a staff sergeant when he was discharged.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Glen Parks Jr. of Sikeston, Jeffrey Parks of Morley; a sister, Deloma Pace of Scott City; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and a sister.
The funeral was held Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Delbert Bishop officiating. Burial was in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
