Melinda Elaine Ward and Edward Louis Rodriguez were united in marriage Aug. 12, 2006, at Christ the King Church in Pueblo, Colo. The Rev. Tom Adrians performed the ceremony. Cantor was Dave Hof. Vocalists were Trina Ward, sister-in-law of the bride, and Hof.

The bride is the daughter of Don and Judy Ward of Ottumwa, Iowa. The groom is the son of Dr. Gregorio and Elvira Rodriguez of Charleston, Mo.

Maid of honor was Mary Anthofer of Prescott, Iowa, and matron of honor was Jessi Good of Rochester, Minn. Bridesmaids were Carey Jenkins of Fort Collins, Colo., Molly Schumacher of Cleveland, Ohio, and Melissa Turner of Pueblo, Colo.

Ernie Rodriguez of St. Louis, brother of the groom, and James Saunders of Owensville, Mo., were best men. Groomsmen were Michael Rodriguez of Charleston, brother of the groom; Todd Duncan and Drew Turner of Pueblo. Ushers were Ernie Rodriguez and Vince Ward, brothers of the couple.

Candlelighters were Drew Turner and Todd Duncan.

Flower girls were Dana Tankenbaum of Short Hills, N.J., cousin of the groom, and Hannah Ward of Midland, Mich., niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Parker Ward of Midland, nephew of the bride.

The reception was held at Pueblo Convention Center.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 11 at La Renaissance.

Mrs. Rodriguez received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Iowa State University. She is promotions manager with Trane Co.

The groom is a graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau, and received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla. He is product manager with Trane Co.

After a wedding trip to Paris, France, the couple resides in Pueblo.
