Donald Herbert Scott, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at Missouri Veterans Home.
He was born Oct. 19, 1930, in Mexico, Mo., son of Herbert and Virginia Taylor Scott. He and Lois Jean Mirts were married Nov. 27, 1960, at Fulton, Mo.
Scott was inducted into the U.S. Air Force in 1948 and served in the Korean War.
He was a numismatic consultant most of his life. He was a former member of Cape Jaycees.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Eric Scott of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Melba Gallop of Birmingham, Ala.; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joel Hebert officiating. Burial will be in New Lorimier Cemetery with graveside military honors.
