Project raising funds to make abortion illegal

The American Life League's Battin' 1,000 project involves big-name baseball greats and is trying to raise $1 million to collect and sell baseball memorabilia, to establish and support and educational institution and to promote a national Catholic organization that "faithfully adheres to the magisterial teachings of the church and is dedicated to making abortion illegal without exception."

Battin' 1,000's format has established 30 teams for friendly fund-raising competition. A $1,000 pledge earns a spot on a team roster. For more information, visit the ALL's Web site: www.all.org.
