Naming of courthouse is a concern

To the editor:

What qualifies Rush Limbaugh Sr. to have his name on the new federal courthouse? Sons who are lawyers, judges and a radio personality? We've had people like the late state senator Albert M. Spradling who were more qualified and did things for the citizens of the area and the state.

I thought the people had the right to pick out the name, not a bunch of politicians. People earn things, and that's why I felt this whole process forgot the citizens who should have a voice in the naming of a building. The politicians really named it fast.
