Jackson woman earns specialist certification

Carol Roth of Jackson has earned certification as advanced oxidation process (AOP) specialist upon the completion of the two-day national training course conducted by EcoQuest International in Memphis, Tenn. Education facilities, industrial sites, hospitals, office complexes and airports use AOP equipment to mitigate indoor air problems. David and Carol Roth own Mead Distributing International.

Rose Bed Inn hires manager/piano player

J.C. Harris has recently started working at the Rose Bed Inn as assistant manager. But Harris also is also working at the bed and breakfast as a piano player. According to a news release, Harris slowly built his talents playing piano while growing up in a musical family, and he learned most of his playing under the watchful eye of Jerry Lee Lewis and has toured with Lewis, opening several shows for him.

Planner earns certificate in estates and taxes

John H. Wolpers has earned a certificate in estate planning and taxation by the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa. He completed graduate-level courses in the college's financial services curriculum for the certificate. Wolpers is a certified fund specialist and a chartered retirement planning counselor with Ameriprise Financial Services in Cape Girardeau.
