ANNA, Ill. -- John Edward Wyatt II, 62, of Anna died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at the Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born June 14, 1944, in Chicago, son of John Edward and Geneva Harper Wyatt. He and Judy Ann Colboth were married Aug. 5, 1967, at Mount Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna.
Wyatt was a member of the Second Baptist Church in West Frankfort, Ill. He was an Eagle Scout and member of the Order of the Arrow Boy Scouts of America. He worked at Florsheim Shoe Factory in Anna for 21 years and was employed at W.W. Wood Products Inc. in Dudley, Mo., as a project engineer and plant manager.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Wyatt of Anna; his mother, Geneva Wyatt of West Frankfort; three sons, John Edward Wyatt III of Indianapolis, Ind., Jason Wyatt and Jaret Wyatt, all of Anna; two brothers, Jerry Wyatt of Carterville, Ill., and Michael Wyatt of West Frankfort; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his father and an infant brother.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna, with the Rev. Dr. Richard Hertenstein officiating. Interment services will be private.
Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Homes in Anna was in charge of arrangements.
