Beating makes family more determined

To the editor:

I am the daughter of the woman who was assaulted at Circle S Saddle Co. Let me start out by saying that my mother was beaten up. She was more than just punched and had a busted lip. This woman has a concussion and has multiple bruising all over her body.

This assault was uncalled for and tragic. The two men are nothing more than low-life scum to come into a place of business and beat up a disabled woman. My mother has several health issues that she deals with on a daily basis and is in pain most of the time, She does her best to go on and never complains. So for these two men to assault her and leave her lying there defenseless -- as they told her that my Aunt Lisa was next, and it could be fatal -- is appalling.

If there is a message to be given, it is to the two men and anyone else who is involved with this assault. You will pay for this crime to the fullest extent of the law. We will not stop looking for you until you are caught, in custody and charged with this crime. When you made the choice to beat up my disabled mother, you only made us more determined to keep following the path we are on to reveal the truth surrounding this whole ordeal.
