Tuesday, July 18, 2006
An autopsy was conducted Monday on the body of a Cape Girardeau man who drowned at Lake of Egypt Saturday night.
Rescue crews found 23-year-old Caleb Michael Lumos in the Johnson County, Ill., lake at 4:55 p.m. Sunday.
Lumos was staying at a cabin on Lake of Egypt over the weekend and friends reported him missing late Saturday evening.
Johnson County Sheriff Elry Faulkner said the accident is under investigation, but he doesn't suspect foul play was involved.
Lumos was a 2001 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School.
Lake of Egypt is located six miles south of Marion, Ill.
