Man found on couch charged with trespassing

A man who fell asleep on a stranger's couch in Scott City while drunk was cited with trespassing Friday. Brandon S. Czik, 22, of Scott City, was found asleep on the couch around 5 a.m. Thursday, according to police chief Don Cobb. He was arrested and later charged in a municipal summons with misdemeanor trespassing, the chief said. The man, who lives on the same block as the home in which he was found, could not remember how he came to be there. According to Cobb, the man was "flat, blasted and tore-down" drunk, and took until late morning to sober up.
